Terms and conditions

  1. In order to take part in voting on Sport Vote you must register an account. To create and register an account, follow the registration process and agree to the terms set out here below.
  2. Sport Vote has 3 options for account registration.
    • a. Fan only user – Free registration. This user may take part in votes but will not be listed as an athlete which can be voted on.
    • b. Player users – Free registration. An athlete user will have all the features available to fan only users. However, athlete users will also be listed as an athlete whom can be voted on, during votes appropriate to them. Sport Vote will record statistical data on these users and also offer users the opportunity to receive a biography of peer reviewed performances.
    • c. Team Administrators – Has paid for registration for key features (All users must register as Fan/Players first) Athlete administrators will have all the features available to athlete users. However, administrators will also can create, edit and manage competitions – these will be team organizers.
  3. You can take part by accessing the vote you wish to be involved in, which will be available during a designated time online. Users register votes by electronically clicking on the performer you wish to vote for, or for combat sports selecting the points you wish to assign.
  4. Any votes registered outside the announced voting times, which will be listed online will not count.
  5. The number of times you can vote will be restricted to one vote per registered user, per open vote. This limit of one vote per user per open vote is non-negotiable, and a strict policy for Sport Vote on each, any and all votes we offer.
  6. On occasion, Sport Vote reserves the right to restrict a vote geographically. For example, if you are not in the right geographic area you will not be able to take part in the vote. We may do this so that only those people in live attendance at a stadium can vote. Should Sport Vote choose to invoke this right we will make our users are aware of this change via an online notice. However, if no such notice is given then votes will be open to all users for the given period of time.
  7. Sport Vote will announce the final results online when voting is closed. Only when the final result is confirmed will there be any indication of voting results.
  8. Selected winners of votes will be displayed on the Sport Vote homepage. Other recently completed votes will display their winners on the competitions homepage.
  9. Taking part in a vote on Sport Vote is by no means entering a competition and therefore registering a vote will not reward the user with any prizes whatsoever.
  10. Sport Vote has three account variations. You must register one to be able to take part in votes on Sport Vote. You can register a basic account which will permit you to vote for free at the registration page here.   11. Sport Vote reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting.
  12. Sport Vote has the right to substitute an alternative selection method for the voting process at our absolute discretion. If, for any reason, the voting system fails, the vote may be suspended or a contingency plan may be actioned.
  13. Sport Vote reserves the right to change, cancel, disqualify, or suspend any vote, competition, or profile on our platform at any time if there is deemed to be a breach of any of our user policies or terms and conditions.
  14. Sport Vote cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any on-line system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.
  15. Please note that Sport Vote staff members and others who are directly connected in any way with the production of Sport Vote are eligible to vote but are subject to all other terms listed here within.
  16. All votes will comply with Sport Votes Code of Conduct for Competitions and Votes, which can be found on our how it works page.
  17. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Korea.
